The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us at the Service.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Harman International Industries, Inc, 400 Atlantic St 4th Floor, Stamford, CT 06901.
- Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
- Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
- Service refers to the Website.
- Website refers to the Roon Store website, accessible at . It does not include any other Harman websites, or any website of any distributor or non-Harman party.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Your Order Cancellation Rights
You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 30 days without giving any reason for doing so.
The deadline for cancelling an Order is 30 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.
To exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by using the form on our contact page.
We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement. We can only reimburse the payment method (namely the specific card or account) used for the original order. If you have closed the bank account or have been issued a new card between the time that the original order was placed and the point at which a refund is requested, please let us know. If we are not informed that the original payment method is no longer valid, prior to us issuing a refund, then the refund may not reach you.
Please note, all transactions are processed in USD ($). As a result, if you are using non-USD($) credit card, the exchange rate fluctuations may result in differences between the order value and refund value. We cannot be held responsible for fluctuations in the exchange rate.
Conditions for Returns
For the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- The Goods were received in the last 30 days
- The Goods are in the original packaging, and the retail box is not damaged
- The Goods were not used or damaged
- You have the receipt or proof of purchase
- You have a received a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Us prior to shipping the Goods
- We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise or withhold a minimum 15% restocking fee for the returned Goods that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.
Open Box Items
All open box sales are final.
Defective Product Returns
Within the warranty period:
- The warranty period begins on the date of the purchase.
- Goods may be subject to troubleshooting through the Roon customer support team prior to return.
- Goods that are determined by Roon to be defective within 30 day of delivery are eligible for exchange through Roon at no cost.
- Goods that are determined to be defective after 30 days of delivery will be repaired or exchanged based on the Roon warranty policy.
- Warranty on Goods purchased from the Roon Store applies to the original purchaser. The warranty does not extend to any other person or transferee and terminates at time of transfer.
Out of the warranty period:
- Goods may be subject to troubleshooting through the Roon customer support team prior to repair.
- All non-warranty returns are subject to repair and shipping fees.
Open Box Items
- Goods are only eligible for repair or replacement with an equivalent open box Goods.
Damaged Product Returns
- In case of returns due to the carrier damage Roon Labs must be notified of such damage within ten calendar days of receiving the shipment.
- Goods with considerable damage caused by misuse or improper handling are not eligible for return or refund.
Returns Process
- Log into the Roon Store using your account.
- From the “Returns” section, select the Goods to be returned.
- Pack your Goods in the original, or equivalent packaging. Roon Labs will not assume the risk of damage if the product was not properly packed.
For US orders returns: Use the prepaid return label provided to you via email. The return shipping fee of $15 will be deducted from your refund. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods.
For Canada order returns: You are responsible for returning the goods to us using your preferred carrier. To ensure the safety of your return, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. The Company cannot be held responsible for any lost, delayed, or non-delivered returns.
Canadian customers have the option to initiate a return either within Canada or to the USA:
- Returning within Canada: If you choose to return the Goods within Canada, please note that you will not be able to reclaim the import duties paid on the Goods.
- Returning to the USA: If you wish to reclaim the import duties, the Goods must be returned to the USA.
Please note, the Company is not responsible for filing import duty reclaims on your behalf.
